Upon the inauguration of our DiazWiechers IP Law firm and in order to meet clients and friends in a less formal setting, on April 4, 2008 we hosted a cocktail party at the Santiago Intercontinental Hotel. A very special guest was H.R.H. Prince Alexander of Saxony, Margrave of Meissen, who was at the time Foreign Affairs Counselor to the Prime Minister of the State of Saxony in Germany and visiting Chile with his spouse, H.R.H Princess Gisela of Bavaria, Margravine of Meissen. The Prince, who has lived many years in Mexico and is thoroughly knowledgeable of Latin America reality, headed a cultural delegation from the State of Saxony. The cocktail party proceeded in a very natural, relaxed and cordial way. Next, after a few welcome words from Juan Alberto Díaz Wiechers, Prince Alexander explained the great economic and artistic potential offered by the State of Saxony. Immediately afterwards, our guests were invited to enjoy the fine wines provided by DíazWiechers IP clients and winemakers and the excellent dinner prepared by the Intercontinental Hotel.
